Channel Your Inner Blonde Bombshell!

If you're looking for a way to punch up your look for summer try adding a few highlights. For this client I added some blonde highlights to enhance her already chocolate brown hair. For a more dramatic effect we also added a few clip- in extensions. FUN!

Fancy Word Of The Day....Ombre!

There is a new color craze taking over..... Ombre!

Ombre is both a French and Italian word meaning 'shaded or shadow'. This highlighting technique is used to give the appearance of 'grown out' highlights and sunkissed ends. The technique is best used on medium to long length hair. Depending on preference touch ups are needed only 2-3 times per year.

You may want to consider Ombre highlights if you:

1. prefer low-maintenance, natural looking highlights (ombre highlights grow out beautifully and are virtually maintenance free).

2. are bored with solid, dark hair and want a boost of color without a total commitment to highlights.

3. have always wanted to be blonde but worried the traditional all-over blonde highlights would make you look washed out.
